Photo Set 1- I took these pictures outside of the Art Museum in Downtown Ann Arbor. I thought that the sculpture was pretty simple at first glance, but when I got up close I realized it had a layer of complexity that I didn’t realize before. That is what I tried to convey in my photos. Once I took the photos, they were pretty easy to edit. I wanted the colors to really pop, so I amped up the vibrance and saturation a pretty decent amount.
Photo Set 2- These are photos of the Law Building on the U of M campus. It is a gorgeous building and I knew it would make a great addition to my portfolio. I kind of think the building looked like Hogwarts, so that was another reason I wanted to photograph it. Taking pictures of the building wasn't very difficult, and neither was the editing, all in all this photo set was pretty easy to do.
Photo Set 3- These are photos of a sculpture I found in downtown Ann Arbor. There are a lot of cool sculptures downtown, but I really liked this one. It was a little difficult for me to make each of the pictures look different, as I had limited space to take the shots, but I think I did a good job. Editing them was pretty easy too.
Photo Set 4- These pictures were also sculptures that I found whilst walking around downtown Ann Arbor. I really liked the look of this sculpture too, so I thought that I should photograph it. I took five photos of it, and they were all ok, but there was one that I really liked. The editing was a pretty simple process too.
Photo Set 5- These are pictures of a clock tower in downtown Ann Arbor. I have a lot of memories going to this clock tower when I was little, and it was nice to take a few photos of it for the project. It was pretty easy to take and edit the photos, and I actually really like the way they turned out. These are probably my favorite photos from this shoot.
