Selfie Project:The message I'm trying to convey with this image is who I am as a person. The first layer of this image is a picture I took at a Hozier concert I went to last summer. It is my most memorable concert to date and I knew I had to include it. The second layer is an image of me and my friends running at a summer camp we go to. The camp is so fun for all of us and it's had such a big impact on my life I knew I had to have it in my image. The third layer is the Epcot ball at Disney Word in Orlando, Florida. I actually took this photo a while ago but I was really proud of it when I did and I thought it would be a cool edition to the image. The fourth layer is another picture I took while at Disney, however, this is a picture of a Rhino I took from the balcony of our hotel. The 5th layer is a photo I took in Naples, Florida with my Grandmother, I took it from a huge dock and I was very pleased the way it came out and I thought it would be a great edition to the image.
Double Exposure: The background I chose for my double exposure was a picture of the Skyline pool. I decided to use this photo as my background because I am a swimmer. And over the Skyline Swim season I have spent easily over 150 hours at the pool, and swam over 350,000 yards. For this project we were told to choose a picture that means a lot to us, and this one does. I have spent so much time at the pool over the past three months that I feel like its kind of a second home. I have so many fond memories of the fun practices we did. I remember the 100x100s, Rudolfs Revenge, and so many fun practices. I think that the pool was the perfect image to have in the background of my double exposure.
Double Exposure/Selfie Project Compare & Contrast: I absolutely think that my double exposure is better then my selfie project I did at the beginning of the year. I think it looks a lot cleaner and a whole lot more organized. The background image means a lot more to me then the ones in the selfie project too.
