Object 1- I took this photo at my friends house over winter break. I’m not entirely sure what it is, nor does it really have any importance to me. However, when I saw it I knew it would be great for my objects project. I shot a few pictures of it from a bunch of different angles and really, I liked ⅘ of them. The bowl and the balls inside the bowl were very photogenic, and taking five good pictures wasn’t a very hard task at all. I feel like I succeeded in taking this pictures, and when I edited them I didn't want to change them too much, so I just amplified the color and things of that nature. I am actually pretty proud of these photos and I think these are some of the best ones that I’ve taken in this class.
Object 2- This is a photo of a bowl that is shaped as a hand. I also took this photo at my buddys house, but he has had it as long as I can remember. I’ve always thought the bowl was cool in a unique kind of way. I only had a few good pictures that came out of my shoot with the bowl, but the ones that did come out well came out really well.
Object 3- This is a picture of my friends mandoline. I decided to take this picture because I really like the music that a mandoline can create and I think his specific one is gorgeous. It was actually pretty difficult to get two good pictures of the instrument, as the angles were pretty hard to get right, but all in all I think that I did a pretty good job.
Object 4- This is a picture of my friends stand up bass. It is just a gorgeous instrument and I’ve always thought that stand up basses look really cool. I also adore the jazz and blues that can come out of a stand up bass. It was pretty difficult to get a few quality pictures of this instrument but the ones I did get were pretty cool. I think that this is a great addition to my objects photos.
Object 5- This is a picture of an old turntable for records. It was my friends Hanukkah gift and I thought it was super cool. I really liked how they made such an old invention look so modern. Taking pictures of it was super easy and I really liked how all of them came out. I think these pictures are some of my favorites out of all the ones in my objects gallery.
